2. Agribusiness Start-Up Incubator

Objective: Foster entrepreneurship among youth by helping them establish profitable agribusinesses in various sectors (e.g., piggery, poultry, crop farming, agroprocessing).

Key Activities:

• Offer business development workshops to teach young entrepreneurs about market research, business planning, financial management, and marketing in agriculture.
• Provide seed funding or access to micro-loans for starting up agribusinesses.
• Facilitate access to agricultural inputs (seeds, fertilizers, equipment) through partnerships with suppliers or government programs.
• Create a platform for youth to pitch their agribusiness ideas and connect with potential investors or mentors.
• Develop an agribusiness network where young entrepreneurs can collaborate, share knowledge, and support one another.

3. Youth Agricultural Extension Service

Objective: Bridge the gap between youth and agricultural knowledge by providing on-the-ground support and information to help them excel in farming and agribusiness.

Key Activities:

• Deploy youth agricultural extension officers who can act as peers and offer personalized advice and solutions to other youth farmers.
• Develop a digital platform or mobile app that provides tips, advice, and up-to-date information on best practices in agriculture, livestock management, and forestry.
• Conduct training on pest management, crop rotation, livestock care, and agroforestry.
• Hold community outreach events to raise awareness of best farming practices, climate resilience, and sustainable agriculture.

Target Audience: Youth farmers (beginning, emerging, and existing).

4. Agroforestry and Environmental Conservation Program

Objective: Encourage youth to engage in sustainable forestry practices and integrate them into agricultural systems for improved biodiversity and environmental conservation.

Key Activities:

• Launch reforestation initiatives where youth participate in planting trees, particularly indigenous species that support local ecosystems.

5. Piggery & Poultry Development Program

• Offer support in establishing poultry and piggery units, including initial capital for infrastructure (housing, equipment).
• Set up model farms where youth can visit and learn best practices.
• Facilitate networking opportunities for young farmers to access markets for selling their poultry and piggery products.

Target Audience: Youth interested in livestock farming (specifically piggery and poultry).

6. Youth in Agriculture Innovation and Research Program

Objective: Encourage youth to become leaders in agricultural innovation by involving them in research and development of new agricultural techniques and technologies.

Key Activities:

• Partner with universities, research institutions, and agro-tech companies to create youth-led agricultural innovation hubs.
• Sponsor youth-led research projects focused on improving productivity, reducing environmental impact, or introducing new agricultural technologies.
• Facilitate hackathons or innovation challenges where young people can develop solutions to agricultural challenges.

7. Agricultural Market Access and Export Program
